Call for Nominations: Equator Prize 2025 – Nature for Climate Action

The UNDP Equator Initiative has launched the Equator Prize 2025 to honor outstanding community and Indigenous initiatives advancing nature-based solutions for sustainable development. Winners will receive USD 10,000 and gain access to global policy dialogues and special events.

Nomination Deadline: February 23,2025

Who can apply? Community-led projects focused on climate mitigation, adaptation, resilience, and a just transition.

NGO “Healing Power” has been implementing a demonstration project “Eco-friendly practices implementation through the creation of waste treatment facilities in local school” for nine months since August 2014 to May 2015. The project is supported by the Small Grants Programme of the Global Environment Facility implemented by the United Nations Development Programme.
